2025 Highlights!

Homeless Persons’ Memorial & Celebration   

Friday, December 19th, 2025

4 pm to 8 pm

Harmony United Methodist Church, 123 Ocean  Ave, Coos Bay

4 – 6 pm: Open Mic: Spoken word, poetry, music & peace dances

4 – 7 pm: Shopping at the Mutual Aid FREE Store  

6 – 7 pm: FREE Dinner & 50/50 Raffle Drawings

7:15 pm:  Candlelight Memorial Ceremony

An annual event near the longest night of the year, to recognize those who died unnecessarily as a consequence of homelessness. 

All community members are welcome to join to honor these lives as well as to celebrate the community that we have with food & dignity.

              • FREE pick up (5:30 pm) and return rides (8pm):

                • American Market on Cape Arage,
                • Bay Area First Step, Empire, 
                • John Toppits Park, Empire, 
                • North Bend Boardwalk S. end, 
                • 7-11 parking lot in Bunker Hill, 
                • Stone pile by Safeway in Coos Bay.
